An officer at General Command of the Jordan Armed Forces said the crash caused a woodland fire, but this was quickly extinguished by firefighters, Arab News reported.
A probe is being conducted to ensure the area “is free from any explosives that could endanger citizens,” said the report.
No details were given on the drones themselves or where they might have come from.
No casualties or injuries were reported, added Petra.
